Our mission is to drive sustainable economic growth, create local employment, and foster skills development while respecting the environment and empowering communities.
Location
Situated in the Belinga range in the northeast of Gabon, the project sits within the province of Ogooué-Ivindo, which is home to around 25,000 people.
This area, rich in natural resources, is set to become a vital hub of economic activity and development.

Our Project Development Journey
The Belinga deposit, found in 1955, has undergone extensive exploration since 2022.
In mid-2023, the project entered its production phase, with the first cargo of iron ore being exported from Gabon in December 2023, proving the project’s viability.
Over the next three years, efforts will focus on exploration and studies to optimize large-scale mining, creating economic opportunities, sustainable employment, and community benefits.

The Belinga Project is about creating a sustainable future for Gabon and its people. With each phase, we are committed to delivering economic growth, respecting the environment, and empowering local communities.
Engaging Stakeholders
Ivindo Iron is actively engaging with a broad range of stakeholders to gather feedback on the Belinga Project, understand different perspectives, and communicate project updates and activities.
We recognize the importance of open, transparent communication and are committed to fostering strong, collaborative relationships with our stakeholders.
